RENOVATION AND ENLARGEMENT OF THE THERAPEUTIC GYM

The Rehabilitation Service welcomes patients at its new and enlarged superb facilities, which allow our expert team of physiotherapists, to provide most convenient treatment to different pathologies simultaneously.

This new gym covers an area of 200 m 2 , which implies duplicating the existing one up to the present. The most signficant innovations being:

•  Four therapeutic treatment private rooms, thus reaching a total of thirteen.

•  Remodelling of dressing rooms and bathroom facilities, with a large area for lockers.

•  Large windows that contribute to a bright environment and an ample and cosy atmosphere.

•  New physiotherapy state-of-the-art equipment.

The main advantage of this service is the interdisciplinary work, carried out by kinesiologists, physical therapists and doctors together with the medical professional ordering the treatment. All procedures are carried out under the strict medical protocol, inherent to each respiratory, cardiovascular or physical therapy specialty.

As a leading medical institution, IADT, is proud to offer to its patients, a rehabilitation center which provides integral attention; from the medical follow-up after surgery, until the complete patient´s return to normal life activities and also in the procedures originating from ambulatory medical attention.

Professional Practice:

Our physical therapy staff develops individualized physio
and kinesiotherapy treatments for patients, as well as
isokinetic rehabilitation  plans.

Magnetotherapy – Ultrasound - Laser Therapy – Tens Electrotherapy - Cervical Traction – Short-wave diathermy Hydrocollator – Bicycles - Flexor Extension Station – Stall bars KT2 Cybex (isokinetics)

Office hours:

    Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 8:30 pm.
    Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Referral: All patients should present medical prescription for this therapy.
